President Anatoly Bibilov instructed to prepare a decree on the determination of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Ossetian Genocide, and include it in the calendar of state memorial days.

He has noted this at a meeting of the commission on the memorialization of the 1920 genocide, which was held under his chairmanship.

After discussing the issue, members of the commission unanimously decided to proclaim June 20 as the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Genocide - the day of the execution of 13 Communards.

President Anatoly Bibilov met with Russian rock singer Yulia Chicherina, who arrived in Tskhinval on the invitation of the head of the South Ossetian state, the presidential press service said.

The concert of the singer will take place on Tuesday at the Kosta Khetagurov.State Drama Theater.
