Residents of Tskhinval and villages of South Ossetia affected by Georgian aggression in August 2008 continue receiving humanitarian aid.
Deputy Health and Social Development Minister Givi Tedeev told IA RES about the humanitarian aid distribution process. "In April our Commission covered 600 requests received from inhabitants. The total number of covered requests from the population throughout the existence of the Commission is 3,220. "Apart from individual requests from Tskhinval and rural areas of South Ossetia, humanitarian aid in food and household items, as well as bed linen was delivered to Djava orphanage, Elderly House "Zabota", Art Lyceum, RSO EMERCOM, Hotel "Alan" and Interior Ministry of RSO", said Givi Tedeev.
