The President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity held a working session with Ministers and heads of governmental agencies of the Republic. The South Ossetian Prime Minister Vadim Brovtsev, head of presidential administration Arsen Gagloev, heads of districts' and town administration of South Ossetia participated in the session.
At the beginning of the session, the president heard the reports from the chief representatives of law enforcement and defense structures on the operational situation in the Republic and the scheduled measures conducted by these agencies.
According to the Deputy Interior Minister Nikolay Kabisov, in course of the previous week, four crimes were committed, out of which 3 were detected. The measures aimed at collection of unregistered arms from the population continued.
The Minister for Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) Anatoly Bibilov reported on the inter-governmental agreement on cooperation between South Ossetia and Russia in prevention of and response to emergencies signed in Moscow 11 February.
"The signing took place on a high level. There were assurances on both sides that there would be future cooperation and interaction in all spheres within the frames of this agreements", said Bibilov.
The Chairman of the Committee for state control and economic security Batraz Tokazov also presented his report on the work done by the Committee. He informed that currently the employees of the Committee are checking the fiscal activities of the Unitary Enterprise "Dorexpostroy", Tskhinval Bakery and the orphanage in Djava. "This week we will start checking the funds used for the treatment of people affected by 2008 August war. It is about the funds allocated in 2009 and 2010 from the special account meant for assistance to the population of South Ossetia affected in the Georgian aggression", said Tokazov.
He also reported that when the works to replace the city nets were checked in Tskhinval, it came out that "South Directorate" does not provide project documentation to check the Unitary Enterprise "Stroytechkontrol". The president tasked the State Committee representative to look into the situation.
The president also asked the heads of city and district administration about the situation on the roads in connection to heavy snowfalls in the Republic.
According to heads of administrations, they presently manage to cope with emerging problems.
During the session, the president also informed the ministers and heads of agencies that a new form for receiving citizens of South Ossetia would be introduced. He noted that, the Public office of the president received many complaints and requests that should be settled within various agencies and departments. In this regards, it was decided that the reception hours are organized on Wednesdays, so that all raised issues are considered right away in the presence of officials in charge.
"Majority of these issues might be settled within two-three minutes, the most important is to have the will of relevant officials", said the president.
