Last week four violators have been detained on the border of South Ossetia and Georgia by the Russian frontier guards. As reported to the news agency "Res" by the press-service of the FSS Boundary management of Russia in the Republic of South Ossetia, all of them are citizens of Georgia. «On July, 29, 2011 about 9:00 around the village Abrev in Leningorskiy region of the Republic four citizens of Georgia have been detained for illegal crossing of the frontier who; according to their words, they have had economic household purposes», - has been noted at the press-service.

The day before, on July, 28, 2011 about 22:30 approximately in 1, 5 km. from the southern suburb of Tskhinval in immediate proximity to the frontier of the RSO and Georgia a man without any documents, proving his identity, was detained for illegal crossing of the border by the employees of the FSS Boundary management of Russia in the Republic of South Ossetia. «While being under investigation the detainee has explained that he is the citizen of Georgia; he has violated the frontier deliberately, having exclusively economic household aims», - the interlocutor of the agency has underlined. On July, 25, 2011 about 22:30 the employees of the FSS Boundary management of Russia in the Republic of South Ossetia together with the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia detained the citizen of Georgia near the settlement Аvnevi, Znaursky region of the Republic, 2 km. from the frontier of South Ossetia and Georgia. «While being under investigation the detainee has explained that he violated the frontier deliberately intending to visit his relatives in Znaursky region, RSO», - has been informed at the press-service. All violators have been transferred to the KGB Frontier service of South Ossetia for further investigation..
