The national team of South Ossetia went to Belarus to participate in the European indoor soccer championship. As IA "Res" has been reported by the head coach Eric Berezov, "the tournament will be attended by teams from Russia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Belarus, Catalonia, Latvia, Slovenia, Norway and South Ossetia."
He added that the South Ossetian team had included Ruslan Pukhaev, Aslan Tautiev, Yuri Bibilov, Kajakh Bestaev, Alan Khadikov, Soslan Gigolaev, Ruten Khamitsev, Arsen Tsidaev, Zaur Ikoev, Sergey Makeevich, Edward Kokoev and Soslan Dzhussoev.

According to Berezov, his team will meet with the national teams of Russia, Catalonia, Belgium and the Czech Republic, which earlier became winners of the European championships.
"Indoor soccer has been practicing in South Ossetia since recently and our players still do not have much experience for performing in the international competitions,"-said Berezov.
The coach added, that despite a lack of experience, South Ossetian national team won bronze at the CIS Cup in 2011, and participated in the last world championship in Colombia.
"So the guys gradually gain experience and improve their technical and tactical skills," - said the coach.
Berezov is confident that though his team meets with the strong and experienced competitors, they will do their utmost to prove themselves worthy.
"I want to express huge thanks on behalf of the team members and myself to President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov and to the chief of Department for Physical Culture and Sports under the Ministry of Education BakhvaTedeev for their active assistance," -concluded Berezov.

It should be noted that the tournament will be held in Brest on May14 – 19, 2012.
