The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is going to start the construction of the first-aid post in the village of Zakkor, Leningor district of South Ossetia
As the employee of the ICRC department of water supply and housing conditions Georgy Arbolishvili reported IA "Res", earlier the medical center had been located in the building of the village administration, but because of the emergency state of the building the management of the district decided to demolish it.

"The administration of Leningor district has applied to us with the request to build a new medical center. We `ll be provided a site, and in the near future the builders will start construction of the building, which will consist of two rooms, where the doctors will be able to work up to standard ", - said Arbolishvili.
According to the ICRC employee, within the frames of the program for medical infrastructure rehabilitation, over ten of such buildings have been built in South Ossetia.
"We have built medical centers in the villages of Zar and Velit. Also has been restored medical infrastructure in the villages of Mugut, Khetagurovo, Grom, Ortev, Teregvan, Ger, Satikar and others, "- he said.
Since 2008 the ICRC has been regularly providing assistance to the most vulnerable citizens of South Ossetia.
