President of South Ossetia was reported on the agenda of the next round of the Geneva talks

Members of the South Ossetian delegation at the Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasia have reported to the President of the Republic Leonid Tibilov about the issues to be discussed during the next round of meetings in Geneva on March 26-27. As the news agency "Res" has been informed by the press secretary of the head of state Ghana Yanovskaya, at the beginning of the meeting the President has noted that today the main challenge for the South Ossetian side is the question of signing the document on non- use of force against South Ossetia and Abkhazia. In addition, the president has stressed that the Geneva discussions are still the solid platform where are raised, discussed and should be addressed the issues of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

"Today the new authorities have come to power in Georgia, but for South Ossetia there are no any guarantees. In Georgian prisons there are still our citizens, many of our compatriots are listed as the missing", - the president reminded.
The Head of State has noted the productive work done in the format of mechanisms to prevent and respond to incidents, and the fact that many of the issues concerning the South Ossetian citizens in Georgia, met understanding of the international representatives.
During the conversation Leonid Tibilov has said, no matter what the Russian-Georgian relations are, the position of the leadership of the Russian Federation to South Ossetia and Abkhazia – is constant."
Head of the Delegation of South Ossetia at the Geneva discussions, the Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev has noted that the main task of the South Ossetian side is elaboration of the document on the non-use of force, which must contain the positions of the Republic.
"The project on the non-use of force by Georgia against South Ossetia and Abkhazia should have solid international guarantees" - said Dzhioev.
The envoy also informed the President about working on humanitarian issues.
"There are still some issues that the South Ossetian side is not going to discuss at the Geneva talks. It mainly concerns the topic of refugees. The position of the South Ossetian side is based on the principle: so far as Georgia is going to submit this issue for the UN discussion, whose member is not South Ossetia, the conversation cannot take place, "- stressed Dzhioev.
The meeting with the President was also attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs David Sanakoev, State Councilor of the President Konstantin Kochiev and Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President for post conflict settlement Khokh Gagloyty.
