Five medals: South Ossetian martial artists received a ticket to the World Cup

Five medals were won by the South Ossetian athletes in the qualifying tournament for the VII Joint Martial Arts World Championship, thereby winning trips to the World Championship, which will be held in October in Italy.

The qualifying tournament for the FKSR / ICLAS was held from September 21 to 25 in Anapa as part of the XII open All-Russian Games.

According to the Committee on Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism, the competition brought together more than 700 participants from 37 regions of the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan and South Ossetia.

Azamat Bestaev (60 kg) returned to Tskhinval with a gold medal. Silver medalists have become Arsen Bestaev (51 kg), Alan Gengeuri (48 kg) and Alexei Chebotarev (31 kg). Roman Mamitov (65 kg) has won bronze medal.

The athletes were trained by a coach Mamed Kulumbegov.
