The Moscow Ossetian Community will honor memory of Beslan victims

On the International Children's Day, the Moscow Ossetian Community will organize the event in memory of the victims of the Beslan tragedy, the organization's press service reports.

"On June 1, at 12:00, a ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to the victims of the Beslan tragedy will take place on the square in front of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kulishki (Alanskoye Podvorye)," the press service has noted.

As a result of the seizure of school No. 1 in Beslan in North Ossetia-Alania by terrorists on September 1, 2004, more than 1,200 people were taken hostage. On September 3, 334 people were killed by terrorists, 186 of whom were children. 126 people became disabled, including 70 children.
