South Ossetia expressed support for Venezuela amid the US external pressure               

The South Ossetian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed support for the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela amid growing external pressure from the United States.
 
The Foreign Ministry's statement has been made in response to the situation developed in the Caribbean Sea near the Venezuelan territorial waters and airspace.
 
"South Ossetia has expressed support for this friendly country and the actions of the Venezuelan leadership aimed at protecting its sovereignty and security," the Ministry's statement reads.

South Ossetia participated in the meeting of the Eurasian Alliance of Ombudsmen

South Ossetia's Presidential Commissioners for Human and Children's Rights, Inal Tasoev and Aelita Dzhioeva, took part in the 10th meeting of the Eurasian Alliance of Ombudsmen, on the topic "Protecting the Rights of Residents of Hard-to-Access, Remote, and Rural Areas."

Аs reported to IA "Res" by Inal Tasoev, the conference was attended by the alliance's 10 core members, as well as the ombudsmen from more than 20 countries and ombudsmen from the regions of the Russian Federation.

President of South Ossetia was awarded the medal "For Assistance to the Special Military Operation."

South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev was awarded the medal "For Assistance to the Special Military Operation."

The award was presented to the head of state by soldiers of the Alania Specialized Regiment during the meeting on Tuesday.

The medal was awarded for a unique outlook on life, significant contribution to support the front, and dedication to ensuring the combat readiness and comfort of Russian service members on the front line.

The South Ossetian Special Military Operation Veterans Posthumously Awarded Medals "For Military Valor" and "For Distinction in Combat"

Тhe North Ossetian Republican Public Organization "Association of Special Military Operations Veterans" posthumously awarded several South Ossetian heroes the medals "For Military Valor" and "For Distinction in Combat."

The awards were presented to the families of the fallen soldiers in Tskhinval on Tuesday.

The words of support and gratitude were expressed by a volunteer from the "Alania" separate sabotage and reconnaissance detachment, call sign "Gode."

The IPRM mechanism will continue to be used to address the population's problems - Christophe Späti

The IPRM is a mechanism within which specific problems and objectives to reduce tension and improve the life of the population will continue to be addressed, the OSCE Co-Chair Christophe Späti announced at the briefing in Tskhinval.

He has noted that five IPRM meetings have already been held in the village of Ergnet this year, and two more are planned .by the end of the year.

Späti has also announced that the next, 65th round of the Geneva Discussions will take place on November 11-12.

Hailu Mamo: The main achievement of the Geneva Discussions is 17 years without war

The main result of the Geneva Discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia is that hostilities have not resumed for 17 years, the UN Co-Chair Hailu Mamo stated at the briefing in Tskhinval.

"And this is, in part, a credit to the IPRM format. This is not about the mechanism itself, but about the contribution of all the negotiating participants," Mamo has noted.

He emphasized the contribution of three international organizations to the Geneva Discussions: the OSCE, the UN, and the EU.
