The Georgian authorities are demonstrating a lack of readiness for equal and civilized dialogue, especially given the statements by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. This was stated by the South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev in the interview with TASS.

The fundamental principles of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation, and Mutual Assistance between South Ossetia and Russia, further developed with the signing of the Treaty of Alliance and Integration, fully reflect the historical traditions of friendship and good-neighborliness between the two peoples and serve as a solid legal basis for the stable development of the South Ossetian-Russian relations.

This was stated in the message by the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry in connection with the seventeenth anniversary of the signing of the Treaty.

The Nicaraguan delegation will participate in the celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of South Ossetia.
