The RSO Government Presidium Session

The President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity held a session of the RSO Government Presidium. 27 issues were on the agenda added with 5 more questions. The discussion on some issues was postponed, the rest were discussed and decided by the Presidium.
The first issue on the agenda was about the fees for water supply to Georgia. After a long discussion, it was decided that the issue needed further elaboration. It was noted that after the final fee is fixed for water supply, the leadership of the Republic would any time cut of the supply to Georgia if the Georgian side refuses to sign a corresponding agreement and does not pay according to fixed fees.
During the session, the RSO Finance Ministry was tasked to allocate additional funds for the construction of District Hospitals in the villages of Dmenis, Tskhinval District, and Sinagur, Djava District.
Having heard the information of the Education Minister Anatoly Kusraev, it was decided to pay out salaries to the employees of pre-school institutions, the buildings of which were damaged during the Georgian aggression in August 2008. Eduard Kokoity stressed that it was necessary to as soon as possible increase salaries in the Republic.
Upon the decision of the Presidium, it was agreed to hand over the administrative building of the former branch office of South Ossetian GOSBANK of the USSR in Leningor district to the National Bank of South Ossetia to further the rehabilitation of the District in accordance with the decision of the RSO Security Council on creation of the RSO National Bank Branch Office there.
During the discussion, a draft proposal was presented to allocate 8,5 mil RUR to the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare from the special bank account to help population affected during the Georgian aggression in August 2008 to pay for medical assistance to 40 citizens of South Ossetia.
It was decided to allocate funds to promote small entrepreneurs affected by the August hostilities and provide them with loans with the total amount of 10 mil RUR.
"We should support and develop small business to ensure that our production is competitive". stressed Eduard Kokoity.
Issues related to Provisions "On service at Law Enforcement Bodies", on creation of unitary enterprises "Agrostroy" and "Ygoslespromkhoz" were considered. The session adopted the Program fro Sanitary and Environment Recovery on the territory of Tskhinval city and surrounding area.
The President had also tasked the Presidium to consider the reporting procedure for Ministers and heads of governmental agencies on the work implemented on earlier decisions.
