Unified media environment discussed in Adygeya

South Ossetian journalists took part in the 6th International Media Forum "Interaction for common interests", held in Adygey. The South Ossetian delegation was presented by Chief Editor of the state newspaper "Yuzhnaya Ossetia" and "Khurzarin" – Zalina Tskhovrebova and Yury Gabaraev, deputy editor of youth newspaper "Respublika" Inal Tibilov. As the Chief Editor of the newspaper "Yuzhnaya Ossetia" Zalina Tskhovrebova told IA RES, the form was held at a very high level.
"The main goal of this forum was the interaction among the journalists in South Russia. The authorities of Adygeya participate in the forum. The president of Adygeya Aslan Tkhakushinov opened the forum. The discussion focused on the topics vital for all journalists in the Southern Federal District", said Tskhovrebova.

She noted that one of the topics on the agenda was the formation of unified media environment and creation of various economic models in this environment.
"Many famous Russian journalists attended the forum. Each of them told about the problems and the expertise used in their respective newspapers. I would like to emphasize that special attention was paid to our delegation. Along with the main part of the event, an extensive cultural program was organized", said the chief editor.
According to her, such events play a tremendous role in the establishment of new contacts necessary for broadening of the informational environment of South Ossetia.
"In my opinion, it would be useful if our media community looks into the possibility of organizing similar event in South Ossetia to help settling the issues of unifying the informational environment, maintenance of business and personal contacts among journalists", noted Tskhovrebova.
It is worth mentioning that South Ossetian journalists became winners in several contests organized within the frames of the forum and were awarded with diplomas.
The forum was taking place on 24-26 June in Maikop, Adygey Republic. Representatives of 80 federal, regional and local media sources participated in the forum. The event was organized by the Committee for Nationalities, Relations with Compatriots and Media of Adygey Republic.
