Russian doctors have assisted more than 1,200 residents Leningor district of South Ossetia

Doctors of the field hospital of the Russian Center of Paramedics "Zaschita” (protection), deployed within the fames of the Interagency Humanitarian Action (IHA) "Mutual Assistance. Cooperation. Security" in four days examined over 1,200 patients, reported the Chief Doctor of the hospital Valery Shabanov during a meeting with Prime Minister of South Ossetia Vadim Brovtsev.

Noteworthy, Vadim Brovtsev had today a working trip to Leningor district of the Republic. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Chairman of the KGB of South Ossetia, Boris Attoe, Chief Control Department of the Presidential Administration of South Ossetia, Vladimir Ushakov, senior representatives of IHA "Mutual Assistance. Cooperation. Secuirty", FSB border guards and others. During the visit, Vadim Brovtsev visited the field hospital "Zaschita", deployed within the IHA.
According to Valery Shabanov, during their four-day visit, the specialists from Moscow examined over 1,200 patients in Leningor district.
"Our hospital is equipped as a normal Moscow clinic. There are all necessary specialists: a cardiologist, a surgeon and a therapist, the traumatologist, etc. From amongst diagnostic facilities, there are a gastroscope, ultrasound, all types of laboratory research ", said Shabanov.
In his turn, the Deputy Chief of the FSB Border Service, Head of Border Guards, Colonel-General Yevgeny Inchin said in his conversation with Vadim Brovtsev that the managmement of the IHA had decided to extend the stay of doctors in Leningor for two days.
”Highly qualified experts had gathered here and operations are conducted on the ground, all types of analysis are made, videoconferences and live consultations are taking place with Moscow specialists. The meaning of this action is significant, we believe that the situation in border areas should be stabilized, which will effectively help solving other problems ", stressed Inchin.
According to him the IHA was planning to implement other humanitarian programs. "Our action is no more a one-off action, we are setting a systematic approach. In my opinion, this is a very important result ", - he added.
Vadim Brovtsev also noted the importance of this humanitarian action, and on behalf of the leadership and the people of South Ossetia thanked the medical staff of the hospital for their assistance to residents.
