South Ossetian boxer Sarmat Kokoev was invited to take part in the traditional All-Russian boxing tournament held in memory of the USSR Honored Coach Boris Grekov. It has been reported to IA "Res" by his coach Robert Pliev. "The competition will be held from 19 to 24 December, 2011 in Moscow. Sportsmen, born in 1996-1997, will contest in the competition.

It should be noted that on December 4 Kokoev won the bronze medal in the weight class to 80 kg at the championship of Russia on boxing among the sportsmen born in1996-1997. He is a member of the senior team of Russia among the juniors on boxing. Currently Kokoev trains in Vladikavkaz at the boxing club "Fighter", under the direction of the alumnus of the South Ossetian School of boxing, the international class master of sports, the head coach of the North Caucasus Federal District junior team Robert Pliev.
