The trade mode agreement has been signed between South Ossetia and Russia

South Ossetia and Russia signed an intergovernmental agreement "On the mode of goods trade." The document was signed in the course of the fifth session of the Intergovernmental Commission on socio-economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia, being held in Moscow.

On the part of South Ossetia the agreement was signed by the Acting President of South Ossetia Vadim Brovtsev and on the part of Russia – by Deputy Minister for Economic Development of the Russian Federation Alexei Likhachev. The sides have underlined the importance of the signed agreement. It was noted that from now on the goods, manufactured in South Ossetia, would have access to the Russian market. The treaty will also promote creating a favorable climate for attracting investments to the Republic and the trade turnover between the two countries will be increased considerably.
