Delegation of South Ossetia took part in the third national forum of heads of the health system institutions. As IA "Res" has been informed at the press service of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of South Ossetia, "members of the South Ossetian delegation,represented by Minister for Health Gregory Kulidzhanov, Presidential State Adviser on Social Affairs Rodion Siukaev and Assistant Minister for Health Akhsar Zassev took part in the round table discussions on the themes ''The Central Regional Hospital Management '', ''The Key Development Issues of the Pediatric Medicine Institutions '' and ''Hospital Management : Practice and Solutions''.
According to the press-officer, in the course of the forum representatives of South Ossetia met with a delegation of the Ministry of Health of Abkhazia.
"The sides discussed the development of the health system in South Ossetia and Abkhazia. We have a lot of common problems, in particular, the financing and modern medical equipment of hospitals, the staff and so on. The participants expressed the need for further cooperation to exchange experiences on solving the existing problems. In this regard, members of the South Ossetian delegation were invited to visit Abkhazia. "
In addition, after the forum members of the South Ossetian delegation met with representatives of the office of the President of the Russian Federation on socio-economic cooperation with the CIS member states, South Ossetia and Abkhazia, as well as the departments of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation.
"In the course of the meetings were discussed the issues related to the investment program for promoting socio-economic development of South Ossetia in 2013 - 2015 years, the construction of medical facilities in the territory of our Republic, the issues of development of the agreement between the South Ossetian and Russian Government on cooperation in providing the specialized, high-tech, health care, including drug coverage for the Russian citizens residing in the territory of South Ossetia and the South Ossetian citizens residing in the Russian Federation."
According to the press-servicer, at the meeting were also discussed the issues of the current financing of the health system in South Ossetia, improvement of legislation in the field of public health protection, the results of studies of the specific properties of mineral waters, the stocks of which had been explored in the territory of South Ossetia.
Following the results of the meeting it was reached an agreement to hold in the near future the joint meeting with representatives of the Ministries of Health of South Ossetia and Russia, as well as the office of the President on socio-economic cooperation with the CIS member states, South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
