The development of relations with other states is necessary, said the President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov at a meeting with members of the Parliament and the government of the Republic.
"We must increase the recognition of South Ossetia, establishing contacts and it is mpossible without such trips," - said Bibilov.
The head of state told about the results of the visits to the Donetsk People's Republic and the Republika Srpska.
According to him, the history of South Ossetia and Republika Srpska is similar in many ways, and there is a commonality between the countries in the sphere of religion.
Anatoly Bibilov also noted the negative reaction of Georgia regarding his visit to the Balkans. "The Ambassador of Georgia expressed his official protest. Tbilisi nervously reacts to all our trips to other states. But we have long ceased to pay attention to the statements of Georgia. If they have a negative reaction, then we are on the right path," - said Bibilov.
The President of South Ossetia spoke about the agreements concluded with the Republika Srpska, as well as the plans for further development of relations with this Balkan country.
"I invited the President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik to South Ossetia to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the recognition of the Republic's independence in August, 2018," - the head of state said.
It should be reminded that President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov was on an official visit to the Republika Srpska from 8 to 13 January.
