The capital of Turkey is hosting an exhibition with the participation of artists from South Ossetia

In Ankara is hosting an exhibition of paintings and photographs "Art'ALAN", where the works of 23 photographers and artists from North Ossetia-Alania and South Ossetia are exhibited, including paintings by South Ossetian director Alan Kasoev, as well as paintings by 15 brush masters with Ossetian roots from many cities of Turkey, the Turkish TV and radio company TRT reports.
The exhibition, opened at the Center for Contemporary Art of the Turkish capital, will continue its work until February 12; its organizer is the World Alan Union.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office and the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Ankara Enver Sheykhov and the representative of the Ossetian-Alan Cultural Association Irma Kochieva.
The participants of the opening paid tribute to the memory of the Russian Ambassador to Turkey, Andrei Karlov, who had been killed as a result of theassassination attempt.
Visitors to the exhibition, in addition to the works of Ossetian artists and photographers, have the opportunity to watch a documentary film about Alans, directed by Temina Tuaeva, the feature film "The Mine" by Murat Dzhusoev, and others.
