Zinichev: EMERCOM of Russia will continue demining the territory of South Ossetia

On behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation will continue working on the humanitarian demining of the territory of South Ossetia, the head of the Russian Emergency Department, Yevgeny Zinichev said at a meeting with his South Ossetian counterpart Alan Tadtayev.
As the news agency "Res" was informed by the press service of the Emergencies Ministry of South Ossetia, Alan Tadtayev, on behalf of President Anatoly Bibilov and the people of South Ossetia, expressed gratitude for the assistance in demining the territory of the Republic, provided by the detachment of the Center for Emergency Rescue Operations of the Emergencies Ministry "Leader".
During the talks, Yevgeny Zinichev has stressed that relations between Russia and South Ossetia are of a strategic partnership nature.
"Promoting the formation of South Ossetia, strengthening its international positions and ensuring security is one of the priorities of the Russian Federation. In addition, the rescue services of our states have strong friendly relations, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia intends to develop them in the future," the head of the RF emergency department stressed.
He has also noted that on behalf of Vladimir Putin, EMERCOM of Russia will also continue working on humanitarian demining of the territory of South Ossetia in 2019.
