Today we see the collapse of the last stronghold of Georgia - Orthodoxy, and then - the inevitable end.

The head of the Foreign Ministry of South Ossetia, Dmitry Medoev, believes that tourists from Russia are needed in Georgia to ease the financial burden of its western patrons, and the Georgian people and their spiritual values are not in their interests. He expressed this opinion to TASS.

"The territory, which today is called Georgia, is strictly controlled by hosts from overseas, and they will not allow anyone to play their game in a foreign field. Fairy tales about Georgian hospitality are good for the gullible tourists from Russia who are needed to alleviate the financial burden of the hosts. Another thing - “the Georgian people and their spiritual values, which are not in the interests of Western patrons. And today we see the collapse of Georgia’s last stronghold — Orthodoxy, and then the inevitable end,” said Medoev.

He has noted that the recent events in Tbilisi clearly demonstrated this fact. According to the politician, the Georgian government "has slipped into a cave of chauvinism and ordinary Nazism in one evening."

"What has been called Georgia has long ceased to exist in nature. This is just a stereotype, a product supported for commercial purposes by the Georgians themselves, about some kind of fairy-tale country, where there is always warm, where there is sea and palm trees, and kind Georgians pour the guests wine and sing beautiful songs. That, old Georgia, is long over. Its remains were destroyed in August 2008, "the Minister said.

The politician expressed regret that "the people, the population of this territory, decides nothing on their land." "Today, the ball is ruled by a completely different generation, which should more than recoup the huge funds invested in it by the Americans. The results of the activity of the “first graduation” of pupils of the so-called school of classical Soros -Saakashvili and others like him, have already experienced.” noted the Minister.

The current revolutionaries, according to the head of the Foreign Ministry, are trained on more modern technologies. "Adherents of aggressive imposing" of new European values "and the foundations of" modern democracy "also went through training courses with political consultants - creators of Maidan and Orange revolutions. This infection is doubly dangerous. It is impossible to deal with such an unstable territory with a population that has turned into a mass that is easy to be ruled and impossible to negotiate," Medoyev concluded.

The capital of Georgia on June 20 was overwhelmed by protests, the protesters opposed the participation of Russian delegates in the session of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy. The radicals seized the parliament building, where the Russian representatives were. SWAT dispersed the rally, but the protests continued on June 21. 240 people were injured, more than 300 were detained.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday signed a decree banning Russian airlines from carrying out air transportation of citizens from Russia to Georgia from July 8, it was recommended that tour operators and agents not to sell vouchers. The government is instructed to ensure the return of the Russians to their homeland. According to Georgian statistics, in 2018 every fifth tourist in Georgia (21%) was from Russia.

Putin signed a decree after the Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili, against the background of protests in Tbilisi, called Russia an "enemy", saying that Moscow was allegedly interested in a social split of the country. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev called her words unprofessional and suggested that she was not in the course of things or distort the situation.

Earlier, the head of the international committee of the Federation Council, Konstantin Kosachev, said that the Georgian authorities, under the onslaught of the radicals, hurried to shift responsibility for what was happening in the country to Moscow.
