The KGB of South Ossetia in cooperation with the Ministry of Emergencies on Thursday conducted radiation and chemical-biological reconnaissance of routes and zones of violation of the state border by Georgian UAVs, the KGB press service reports.
Such measures were taken, “given the high level of biological threat, the coronavirus pandemic in Georgia (currently, 801 cases of the disease have been detected in the country, 2424 are in quarantine, 304 are under medical supervision, and 13 have passed away), as well as the available data on the activities in Georgia, of the so-called " R. Lugar Research Center for Public Health."
As the KGB had previously informed, on June 1 and 3, the Border Guard Service of the Committee noted the use by the Georgian side at the state border section in the area of the settlement of Uista unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
“So, on June 1, from 21.00 to 22.00 in the direction of the settlement of Seribalta, was recorded the flight of a large UAV of the Hermes or Skylark type, which is in service with a number of Georgian power structures. On June 3, in the direction of the Yugostalk plant and the village of Uista, the launch of the quadcopter took place. Both drones invaded the airspace of South Ossetia,” the intelligence agency stated.
The Committee has noted that, in particular, the employees of the Radiation and Chemical-Biological Protection Unit of the RSO KGB Border Service selected “soil, water, air, green cover, and various insects in order to further study them in the laboratory conditions. "
In connection with the outbreak in Georgia, in addition to the Covid-19 pandemic of the Congo-Crimean hemorrhagic fever, as well as experiments carried out at the Lugar laboratory with bats and insects, the KGB of the Republic responsibly declares that if pathogenic microflora or disease vectors are detected in the samples taken, this fact will indicate the use of forms and methods of bioterrorism by the Tbilisi regime against South Ossetia.
