In the PCR laboratory of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee 150 people have been tested for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours; 30 positive results of COVID-19 have been detected, Marina Kochieva, the chief sanitary doctor of the Republic, told IA "Res ".
“Over the past day, 30 cases of coronavirus have been detected. 14 people have been removed from the register of doctors; in total, 288 patients have recovered from the coronavirus since mid-September,” Kochieva said.
There are 1,259 people under medical supervision, according to Kochieva.
Over the entire period of the pandemic, 9544 people have been tested for Covid-19, the total number of cases since mid-September reached 1547 people.
In total, 27 people have died in South Ossetia during the pandemic.
A mask regime has been introduced in South Ossetia it is necessary to observe all measures prescribed by the sanitary and epidemiological supervision and social distance in public places. By the decision of the operational staff, the functioning of secondary, secondary professional and higher educational institutions, children's institutions, entertainment centers, attractions, weddings, etc. is suspended until November 15.
