The film " Survive Cannot Die", which tells about the events of August 2008 in South Ossetia, won the all-Russian festival of patriotic cinema Russian Elementary Cinema (REC).

As director of the film Angelina Tsalikova-Bitarova informed IA "Res", the film had won first place in the nomination "The best feature-length film".

“These are indescribable emotions; I was so excited while watching the live broadcast and waiting for the jury's decision. The festival featured 213 works from Moscow, Samara, Stavropol and other cities. As noted by the organizers, the film from the Caucasus has stuck in their mind very much. The award ceremony took place on December 11, and the festival could be viewed online,” Tsalikova-Bitarova said.

The festival was held from December 9-11 in Saint Petersburg. The all-Russian festival of Patriotic cinema Russian Elementary Cinema was held for the ninth time in St. Petersburg with the support of The Committee for youth policy and interaction with public organizations and the center for Patriotic education of youth "Dzerzhinets", the festival's partner is the Lenfilm film Studio. On December 11, the results were summed up and the award ceremony was broadcast live. The film "Survive Cannot Die" was shot in the "drama" genre in the summer of 2019. The work is freely available on the YouTube channel. The film is directed by Angelina Tsalikova-Bitarova and written by Konstantin Bitarov. The film was created by cameramen Maria Nashikina and Ruslan Makiev, actors: David Togoyev, Elbrus Beslikoyev (blue Ariag), Alexander Bitarov, Tamerlan Sabanov, Robert Bitaev, Boris Kantemirov, Grie Mamiev, Olesya Lokhova and others. The film is the winner of the VII international Patriotic film festival "Defenders of the Fatherland-2020" in Kazan.
