Socio-economic aspects of South Ossetia have been discussed today at the round table in the Media Center "IR." The event was attended by the heads of political parties of South Ossetia, representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, lecturers and students of the Department of Economics of the South Ossetian State University, the public and political figures of the Republic. Opening the discussion, President of the Media Center "IR" Irina Gagloeva stressed that the further South Ossetian statehood would depend on its economic development.

March 31 members of the international rally "Relay of Memory", dedicated to the 68th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, will arrive in South Ossetia. This was said by State Councilor to the RSO President Zhanna Zasseeva at today's meeting of the Republican Commission on arranging the State significant events.

Minister of Health and Social Development of South Ossetia Gregory Kulidzhanov has met in Tskhinval with members of the Russian delegation headed by Deputy Director of the Department for Labour Protection and Working Conditions of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Russia Pavel Egorov, who arrived in South Ossetia on a working visit.

Official communication of the South Ossetian delegation on the 23 Round of Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia

March 26-27, 2013 a regular meeting of the international discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia was held in Geneva. It was attended by delegations of the Republic of South Ossetia, the Republic of Abkhazia, the Russian Federation, Georgia, the United States, as well as the EU, the UN and the OSCE. South Ossetian delegation was headed by Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev.

The border guards of the FSS Border Control Agency of Russia in South Ossetia have detected ammunition in Tskhinval district (near the village of Grom).

Due to unavailability of the Georgian party to the expert review of the draft statement of all the participants of the format on non-use of force, developed by the Co-Chairs of the Geneva discussions, it was decided to postpone it to the next round. This is stated in a communiqué of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation, following the 23 round of the Geneva discussions on security in Transcaucasia.

April 1 in Tskhinval the Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in South Ossetia will host the exhibition dedicated to the International Day of Mine Threat Awareness and Assistance in Mine Clearing, which is celebrated on April 4.

In Switzerlandhas finished the 23rd round of the international Geneva discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia.
As the news agency "Res" was informed over the phone from Geneva by head of the South Ossetian delegation to the Geneva talks Murat Dzhioev, the main issue of this round was ensuring of the security of South Ossetia and Abkhazia by Georgia.

Public Chambers of the Republic of South Ossetia and Chechnya signed a cooperation agreement.
The meetingof the Public Chamber members of South Ossetia, Chechnya and the Voronezh region was attended by the Ambassador of Russia in South Ossetia Elbrus Kargiev, who noted that the establishment of the public institutions, the civil society development would be for the benefit of the state.

South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov has received today the Deputy Head of the Public Chamber of the Chechen Republic Mamiy Mutsaev, a member of the Public Chamber of the Voronezh region Valentina Shumyanskuya and Deputy Director of "The Real School by Zolotarev" Murat Toktarov.
