The memory of those killed as a result of Georgia's armed aggression against South Ossetia will be honored in Tskhinval.

A photo exhibition "08.08.08 - 08.08.25" will be opened on the 17th anniversary.

A mourning requiem campaign will be held on the evening of August 7 at 22:00 at the memorial complex "To the Defenders of South Ossetia" on Makharbek Tuganov Street in Tskhinval. Representatives of the public, residents of Tskhinval, politicians, and the Republic's leadership will gather here.

The main goal of the First International Economic Forum is to improve interaction between government, business and investors, said South Ossetian Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev.

South Ossetia is preparing for the First International Economic Forum "Investment Horizons", where the government decisions in the field of entrepreneurship will be presented.

Representative of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia in Italy Mauro Murgia took part in the traditional memorial events in connection with the 45th anniversary of the terrorist attack at the Central Station in Bologna.

In memory of those killed in the terrorist attack, August 2, 1980 was declared the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of All Mass Murders in Italy.

At the invitation of the local association of relatives of the victims of the terrorist attack, the Beslan delegation headed by Mayor Khariton Tatrov also took part in the memorial events.

A number of mourning events will be held in Transnistria in memory of the military actions taken place in South Ossetia in August 2008.

They are organized by the official representative office of the Republic in the PMR, the Novosti Pridnestrovya agency reports.

On August 7, at 20:00, the State Flag of the Republic of South Ossetia will be lowered in Tiraspol.

On Tuesday, Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia, Akhsar Dzhioev, received the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross Representative Office in the Republic, Said Assadullah, and the head of the ICRC Protection Department, Marko Doshlak.

According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, during the conversation, a number of practical issues related to the implementation of humanitarian projects of the ICRC Representative Office in South Ossetia have been discussed.
