South Ossetia has significant potential for development in various sectors, including mining, construction, timber processing, and agriculture. This was stated by Andrei Vorobyov, a leading specialist at the Chelyabinsk branch of the Komsomolskaya Pravda publishing house, arrived in Tskhinval at the head of the delegation of entrepreneurs from the Chelyabinsk region.

During the press conference held at the Information and Press Committee, Andrei Vorobyov shared his impressions of the visit.

A business seminar was held in the capital of South Ossetia, bringing together entrepreneurs from the Chelyabinsk Region and representatives of the Republic's business community. The event, organized by Ministry of Economic Development of South Ossetia, aims to strengthen direct business contacts between the regions and promote mutually beneficial cooperation.
 

The 12th Conference of the North Caucasus Parliamentary Association has became a platform for the constructive exchange of experience and the strengthening of friendly ties between the parliaments of the republics of Southern Russia, South Ossetia, and Abkhazia. This was noted by Zita Besaeva, First Deputy Speaker of the South Ossetian Parliament, who led the South Ossetian delegation at the event in Karachay-Cherkessia.

The delegation has also included Zaza Driaev, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-parliamentary Relations.

South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev met with Soslan Pliev, a participant in the special military operation.

According to the presidential press service, Soslan Pliev has been in the special military operation zone since the very beginning, serving with a unit from the 4th Military Base,.

Gagloev thanked the soldier for his faithful service, for his steadfastness, and courage on the battlefield.

In October, the South Ossetian Defense Ministry recorded three unauthorized over flights of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) using jamming. Defense Minister Yuri Yarovitsky reported this to President Alan Gagloev at the meeting with the Republic's security forces.

According to the Minister, the Ministry has also begun recruiting young personnel.

A trilateral meeting of delegations from the Councils of Young Diplomats of the Foreign Ministries of South Ossetia, Abkhazia, and Russia was held in Moscow, the press service of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry reports.
 
The meeting was organized as part of the 8th Global Forum of Young Diplomats on the sidelines of the International Cooperation Forum dedicated to the 100th anniversary of public diplomacy.
 

The South Ossetian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed support for the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela amid growing external pressure from the United States.
 
The Foreign Ministry's statement has been made in response to the situation developed in the Caribbean Sea near the Venezuelan territorial waters and airspace.
 
"South Ossetia has expressed support for this friendly country and the actions of the Venezuelan leadership aimed at protecting its sovereignty and security," the Ministry's statement reads.

The event is being held at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
 

A commemorative banknote of the National Bank of South Ossetia in the denomination of 100 zarin will be presented at the International Numismatic Exhibition in Beijing.

According to the official dealer Alexey Zemlyakov, the exhibition will run from October 31 to November 2.

South Ossetia's Presidential Commissioners for Human and Children's Rights, Inal Tasoev and Aelita Dzhioeva, took part in the 10th meeting of the Eurasian Alliance of Ombudsmen, on the topic "Protecting the Rights of Residents of Hard-to-Access, Remote, and Rural Areas."
