The international national music festival-competition of the Ossetian beer "Iron Bagany" will be held in Istanbul in late August. The eight best Turkish brewers will be competing in the production of Ossetian beer and the preparation of dishes of the Ossetian national cuisine.
Ossetian artists and jewelers living in Turkey will present their products at the "Iron Bagany", and Leyla Albegova, director of the "Fydjyn "restaurant in Istanbul, will prepare an exhibition of dishes of the Ossetian national cuisine in conjunction with festival participants.
In addition, there will be a presentation of the book by the Ossetian philologist Tamerlan Kambolov "Ossetians. Milestones of History", which was translated into Turkish the day before, the Ministry of Culture of North Ossetia reports.
The V International Ossetian beer and music festival-contest “Iron Bagansy- 2019” has become annual, this year it starts on August 24 in one of the prestigious cultural centers of Istanbul - the Jemal Reshet Rey concert hall.
The General sponsor of the festival is the Group of companies "Brewery house "Bavaria".
The final of the Iron Bagany festival is held annually in North Ossetia. It includes regional stages, which are arranged not only in Russia, but also abroad.
