The date indicates that diplomatic relations between Ossetia and Russia began to develop from the mid-18th century, which is confirmed by a wealth of historical data from various sources. In the context of today's realities, this memorable date is of great political importance, and it is important that the widest possible audience learns about it..

As part of the events, an official meeting is planned between President Anatoly Bibilov and the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov.
