On the procedure for accreditation of media representatives of the Russian Federation and other countries for working in the territory of the Republic of South Ossetia

The State Information and Press Committee of the Republic of South Ossetia informs the media of the Russian Federation and other countries about the procedure for accrediting their representatives to work on the territory of the country.

The application should be sent to the head of the State Information and Press Committee of the Republic of South Ossetia Kotaeva Maria Feliksovna on the official letterhead of the mass media, it should specify:
- Surname, name, patronymic (in Russian and Latin transcription);
- position;
- series and passport number;
- date of birth (day, month, year);
- Place of Birth;
- a copy of the accreditation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation (for foreign journalists);
- Citizenship;
- the expiry date of the passport (for foreign citizens);
- contact numbers, e-mail address,

the expected duration of work in the territory of South Ossetia.

The application must be signed by the head (deputy head) of the media.

The period for consideration of the application is 3 (three) days. In case of justified necessity, on the day of appeal. Based on the results of consideration, an official confirmation will be sent to the media for accreditation.

IN THE CASE OF INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
