A delegation of Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation headed by Minister Maxim Reshetnikov and Chairman of the Government of South Ossetia Konstantin Dzhussoev inspected the facilities being built in Tskhinval as part of the Investment Program.

The Russian delegation has included Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Volvach, Head of the Department of Special Programs and Projects of Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Anton Melnik and other officials.

The Russian Federation will fulfill all financial obligations to South Ossetia in 2025 in full, including increasing salaries for public sector employees and security forces. This was reported on the official website of Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation following the working visit of the Russian delegation to South Ossetia.

President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev has held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Volvach, who arrived in the Republic on a working visit, the press service of the head of state reports.

As emphasized by Dmitry Volvach, in the summer, during his last visit, a lot of practical work was carried out and the results were not long in coming.

In Tskhinval, it has been discussed socio-economic cooperation between Russia and South Ossetia, the implementation of the Investment Program and the state program for socio-economic development of the Republic.

The delegation of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, headed by Deputy Head of the Department Dmitry Volvach, inspected the facilities under construction in South Ossetia as part of the Investment Program.

Representatives of the Ministry arrived in the Republic on Wednesday for a two-day working visit.

The guests were accompanied by Chairman of the government of the Republic Konstantin Dzhussoev, head of the Ministry of Construction Konstantin Eldzarov, representatives of the capital construction department and other officials.

President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov highly appreciated the results of the implementation of the Investment Program in the Republic in recent years. The head of state stated this in an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

“In recent years, the Investment Program has been implemented in factь 100 percent, with a difference of 4-5 percent, that is, this is something that has never happened before,” the President said.

The backup power transmission line in South Ossetia, which was put into operation at the end of November last year, will contribute to the development of the economy in the country, President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

"I consider the reserve line, which allowed us not to go through such periods of time when there is no light throughout the republic, to be a strategically important object for the state and its people," Bibilov said.

The delegation of the government of the Russian Federation, headed by Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Volvach, will arrive on Friday afternoon in South Ossetia on a two-day working visit.

According to the presidential press service, on Friday evening the Russian Deputy Minister will meet with the head of state Anatoly Bibilov, as well as it will take place a working meeting on socio-economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia.

The Russian Investment Program to promote the socio-economic development of South Ossetia will be continued in the coming years and adjusted in accordance with the new priorities, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Sergei Nazarov told reporters during his working trip to Tskhinval.

A backup power line from Russia to South Ossetia through the Ruck tunnel is scheduled to be put into operation in October. This was reported to journalists by the President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov.
