Today, on 28 April, the Georgian side admitted the fact of detention in Goergia a the a citizens of the Russian Federation Valentina Bedoeva. It is noteworthy that on 27 April, the Georgian info-agency “Georgia Online” categorically disclaimed detention of any Russian citizen referring to the words of Head of Georgia’s Interior Ministry Shida Kartli Department V. Jugeli. “Georgian law enforcer did not detain any Ossetian, especially a woman with children”, quoted Georgian-Online V. Jugeli.

The Special Representative for Post-Conflict Settlement Boris Chochiev drafted a letter regarding the draft report of the PACE representative Corien Jonker “Humanitarian consequences of war between Georgia and Russia”.
The draft letter states, inter alia:
”The report is has been drafted after the visits of Ms. Corien Jonker to North Ossetia-Alania, South Ossetia and Georgia to monitor the implementation of PACE Resolution № 1648 (2009).

The Government Presidium session approved the list of pensioners, who receive the RSO pension. And are entitled for a lump-sum benefit of 3,000 RUR. The session had also approved the list of wounded and killed during the August events. At about 3 hrs p.m., in an inhabited area of Tskhinva in Komsomolskaya street (house no. 36), children had found an RPG-22 grenade launcher, reported the press-service of the RSO MoD.
”The combat engineers who arrived at the spot, verified that the grenade launcher RPG-22 was in a stowed status and it bore an inscription in Bulgarian language”, says the press-service report.

Delegation of Co-Chairmen of Geneva talks for Security in the Caucasus is planning to pay a visit to South Ossetia in 5 May, stated the Special Representatives for Post-Conflict Settlement Boris Chochiev in his Thursday interview.
