I express our desire to continue cooperation, - Bashar Assad

On the occasion of the first anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations with the Republic of South Ossetia President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Bashar Assad, sent a telegram to President Anatoly Bibilov, the press service of the head of state said.

The head of Syria, addressing the President of South Ossetia, expressed "a desire to continue cooperation and make efforts, relying on the work done during the year, to strengthen bilateral relations in order to move towards new horizons of cooperation for the mutual benefit of our two nations."

We look forward to a fruitful discussion in Geneva - co-chairs

Security issues, missing persons and humanitarian issues are a range of issues that are on the agenda of the Geneva discussions. The co-chairs came to Tskhinval to outline with their colleagues the circle of issues discussed at the upcoming round, which is scheduled for the beginning of July. At the end of the official part of the dialogue, the co-chairs commented on the results of the meeting and answered the questions of the South Ossetian media representatives.

Anatoly Bibilov to the participants of the World Compatriots Games: we are proud of you

At the Rossotrudnichestvo representation in South Ossetia was honored schoolchildren who had taken part in the V World Compatriots Games in Khanty-Mansiysk. The South Ossetian team took the 5th place in the team competition, and also won in individual nominations.

President of South Ossetia, Anatoly Bibilov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the RSO Marat Kulakhmetov congratulated the children on the achievements at the international level event.

The co-chairs are ready for productive work

The co-chairs of the Geneva discussions arrived in South Ossetia to discuss with the South Ossetian colleagues the agenda of the upcoming round of the Geneva discussions.

Murat Dzhioev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Republic of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement issues, has noted that today they will have to continue the responsible work that the co-chairs are conducting at the platform of Geneva discussions on ensuring peace and security in our region. Murat Dzhioev has expressed hope that the upcoming round will be very positive.
