A thousand balloons by the number of genocide victims from Georgia were launched in all areas and the capital of South Ossetia. June 20 in South Ossetia has become a Memorial Day for the victims of the genocide of the Ossetian people, President Anatoly Bibilov said at the meeting of the commission to perpetuate the memory of the events of 1920 on Thursday.

"Today I signed a decree on the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Ossetian Genocide. For the Ossetian people, recognition of the genocide is recognition of tragedy.
