The Commission on the Memorialization of the Genocide committed against South Ossetians by the Georgian Democratic Republic in 1920 discussed an action plan dedicated to the centenary of genocide. The meeting was held in Tskhinval, chaired by Prime Minister Eric Pukhaev.

The 160th anniversary of the birth of Kost Khetagurov was celebrated in the twin city of Vladikavkaz, Bulgarian Kardzhali.
