A banknote from the National Bank of South Ossetia dedicated to the great poet Kosta Khetagurov will be presented at the numismatic exhibitions in Hong Kong in April, the Bank of Alania press service reports.

"The commemorative 100-sarin banknote was first presented at the International Economic Forum MEF-1. Over the past year, it has enjoyed great demand at the international numismatic exhibitions," the press service has noted.

The commemorative banknote was issued in a limited edition of 20,000 copies, the financial institution has noted.

During the meeting, Oleg Bartsits has noted that cooperation between the two fraternal states is developing in the spirit of alliance, partnership, and friendship.

South Ossetia paid last tributes to Gennady Kokoev, perished during the special military operation.

The Republic's leadership, led by President Alan Gagloev, members of Parliament, led by Speaker Alan Margiev, Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, the soldier's family and friends, and his comrades attended the funeral.

Kokoev's heroism and courage were noted during the funeral rally.
