Children and teenagers in South Ossetia are forbidden to visit public place in late evenings without their parents, reported Elza Djioeva, the Head of Supplementary Education Department in the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth Policy of South Ossetia. According to her, this decision has been forwarded to the Ministry of Education of the Republic.
"In our turn, we will further disseminate it among all schools and we will publish it in the media", said Dzhioeva.
"Children and teenagers (persons under 16 years old) in South Ossetia are prohibited to appear in public places from 20.00 to 6.00 pm without any adult company”, said Dzhioeva. – It is also prohibited to sell alcohol and tobacco products to minors.
According to her, this decision was received from the Administration of Tskhinval in order to improve prevention of juvenile crime, children’s compliance with norms and rules of conduct in public places and to avoid negative consequences.
