President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov hosted the well-known Russian businessman Taimuraz Bolloev, who had arrived in the Republic on a working visit. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Rostik Khugaev, head of the Presidential administration Boris Chochiev, First Deputy Prime Minister Guram Melkoev, and a Chairman of the Committee of Industry, Transport and Energy Vasily Dzasseev.
At the beginning of the meeting the President welcomed the guests and told about the plans and processes for rehabilitation and further development of the Republic of South Ossetia.
"You have probably seen with your own eyes what is happening in the country. Unfortunately, we are still at the stage of rehabilitation. But, at the same time, we understand that along with the rehabilitation process the leadership is facing other tasks, such as job creation, "- said Leonid Tibilov.
The President has stressed that the majority of the citizens of the Republic -are the government employees.
"We understand that the public sector does not cover all citizens. Many are unemployed, and mostly it concerns the female population. Therefore, today we want to make you some offers, "- continued the President.
Teimuraz Bolloev thanked the South-Ossetian leadership for the warm welcome and the opportunity to discuss the important issues.
"By the decision of the Russian leadership my company (St. Petersburg company" BTK Group "..- Ed.) has become the outfitter of a special uniform. We have signed a permanent contract. In this regard, we would like here, on site, to learn the terms for our further cooperation. We are one blood, one nation, so today we're here. We`ll try to achieve our goal, "- said Bolloev.
Then the head of state and guests visited the garment factory in Tskhinval, which had not been functioning for the recent years, met the management and examined the complex. Taimuraz Bolloev has noted that the building is well preserved, but they will have to do a lot of work.
Director of the factory Lev Kulumbegov has noted that many people want to work at the factory, and the main thing is to launch production. Bolloev was interested, if a survey of the population had been carried out. The chief accountant Zalina Tedeeva has noted that even today they have received over 200 applications from citizens.
"The applications have been submitted by former employees of the factory, as well as by a lot of young people," - said Tedeeva. Taimuraz Bolloev was pleasantly surprised by the news and said that in the near future a team of experts would arrive in the Republic. They will assess the extent of work that will provide an opportunity to revive the factory.
It should be noted that Taimuraz Bolloev is a president of the St. Petersburg Company "BTK Group", the former head of the State Corporation "Olympstroy" and former CEO of the brewing concern "Baltika".
