South Ossetian authorities are ready to continue working on a project to assemble the light aircraft and helicopters in the Republic in case of compliance with all legal formalities. In this regard, the First Deputy Prime Minister of South Ossetia Guram Melkoev met with the director of "Your Avia-centre - South Ossetia" Georgy Valiev, who also represented his Russian counterpart, General Director of "Your Avia-centre" Victor Boychenko. The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Committee of Industry, Transport and Energy, Vasily Dzasseev.
The reason for the meeting was the recent publication on the web-site, where on behalf of the General Director of "Your Avia-centre" Victor Boychenko, the South Ossetian leadership was accused of sabotage and non-compliance of the commitments," which, at least, is incorrect.
According to the press service of the President and the Government of South Ossetia, Guram Melkoev has expressed dissatisfaction with these publications, and has stressed that the agreement of the intentions signed between the parties has no legal basis and cannot be further used as the basic document that meets the legal standards.
In conclusion the First Vice-Premier has stressed that the government of the Republic is ready for the next step and is expecting further development proposals.
In turn, Georgy Valiev has assured that his Russian counterpart Viktor Boychenko has nothing in common with the above publications, and said that "it's all being done by some third party, which pursues its own aims."
"We are open to dialogue and willing to work further on the project, but at this point, after analyzing all available documentation, we should weigh the pros and cons, examine and prepare the competently composed paper on this project," - stressed Guram Melkoev.
