South Ossetia sent humanitarian aid to the Rostov region of Russia, where is located the camp of refugees from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic Eric Pukhaev, the humanitarian aid consists of bedding, clothing, daily necessities, as well as mineral water.
"The total amount of the humanitarian aid is 2,330,000 rubles. These funds are collected by the population of our Republic and transferred to a special account in the National Bank of the Republic,"- said Pukhaev.
The trucks with humanitarian aid went to the Rostov region and have already reached the refugee camp in the Rostov region.
"This is the second consignment of humanitarian aid from South Ossetia to refugees from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. For the first time humanitarian aid was provided in summer 2013, "- said the official.
