Chairman of the government of South Ossetia Konstantin Dzhussoev took part in the memorial service for the victims of the Georgian military aggression in 2008. The service was held in the Church of the Holy Trinity in the city of Tskhinval.
Together with the head of government, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development Dzambolat Tadtaev, head of the government Office Alan Dzhussoev, heads of the ministries and departments came to the temple to offer prayers for the repose of the souls of the innocently killed, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
“The August 2008 war is one of the most tragic and at the same time heroic pages in the history of our Republic. Today we are remembering every inhabitant, every militia fighter and Russian soldier, our brothers who gave their lives for peace in our land. We are praying for the dead, for the health of the living, the well-being of children and loved ones,” said Konstantin Dzhussoev, stressing that this should never happen again.
