President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev met with the combatants from Luhansk, Donetsk and Abkhazia, who arrived in Tskhinval to participate in the celebrations dedicated to the Day of the State Flag and the Day of the Republic.
“The people of South Ossetia gained independence at the cost of heavy losses, but today we are celebrating the day of the State Flag of the Republic, and thank you for being with us today,” the head of state said at the meeting with combatants.
Alan Gagloev has expressed gratitude to the guests for the fact that they are always next to the people of South Ossetia.
“It is very difficult that today Luhansk and Donetsk are restless, hostilities continue, but today you have found the opportunity to come to us and celebrate the Day of the State Flag with us. Thank you! Gagloev said. “Every time we celebrate significant holidays for the people of South Ossetia, our friends, our brothers are always with us.”
The head of state expressed hope that the special military operation in Ukraine would be completed in the near future, and "together we will take part in the celebrations in the Luhansk People's Republic and the Donetsk People's Republic."
“The truth is on our side, and we must defend this truth,” Gagloev said.
In turn, the representative of the DPR Sergey Semerny said that in Moscow for veterans, combatants and citizens of South Ossetia there is an opportunity to make prostheses for free.
“To do this, you only need to have a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, for all questions you can contact Madina Plieva,” he has specified.
At the end of the meeting, combatants from Luhansk, Donetsk and Abkhazia thanked Alan Gagloev for his attention.
