President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev has received a delegation of the Republic of Dagestan headed by Minister for National Policy and Religious Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan Enrik Muslimov, who arrived in Tskhinval to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of South Ossetia, the press service of the head of state reports.
Welcoming the guests, the President noted the invaluable assistance and support of the Russian Federation in the development of the Republic.
“You can see for yourself that South Ossetia is being built, the capital has changed. After all the difficulties that the people of the Republic have gone through, we have the opportunity to celebrate holidays and invite our friends. We are closely following what is happening in the fraternal republics and are always pleased with new achievements. Many thanks to the Head of the Republic of Dagestan, Sergey Alimovich, for his attention and benevolent attitude towards the people of Ossetia,” said Alan Gagloev.
For his part, Enrik Muslimov congratulated the President and the people of the Republic of South Ossetia on the holiday.
“On September 27, we will host the interregional conference “The headscarf is a symbol of peace and the soul of people”, which unites women of different nationalities. Participants will be from five regions of Russia. I would like to invite a delegation of women from South Ossetia to take part in it. I think that steps to strengthen relations will only benefit our peoples,” he said.
During the meeting, Alan Gagloev and Enrik Muslimov also discussed issues of strengthening and developing bilateral relations.
