President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev visited the location of the Ossetian fighters in Melitopol and delivered another batch of humanitarian aid to the military personnel of the 4th military base, volunteers from the Alania and Storm battalions. This was announced by the press secretary of the President Natalya Bosikova.

She has noted that the humanitarian cargo for the participants of the Special Operation contains technical equipment - quadrocopters, thermal imagers, walkie-talkies, generators, as well as basic necessities - food, water, camouflage military clothing, boots, snood masks, sleeping bags, stoves (for heating and cooking in the field), etc.

“This is the second large-scale batch of humanitarian aid from the President. In addition, the President systematically provides targeted assistance to the fighters. The head of state is always in touch with the guys and knows firsthand what difficulties they have to face on the front line, what they need most at this stage. With this in mind, the humanitarian cargo was formed. The President personally delivered humanitarian aid in order to communicate with volunteers and military personnel, to support them morally in difficult combat conditions. This is important and significant for the fighters,” said Bosikova.

The head of state talked to the servicemen and volunteers and congratulated them on the upcoming holiday - Victory Day. He noted their courage and heroism while serving in the special military operation zone.

“Our compatriots, servicemen of the Crimea detachment, were also present there. The President promised to provide all possible support to the fighters,” she said.

In addition, Alan Gagloev handed over his personal car to one of the units of the 4th military base.

“The day before, the President became aware that the fighters. participating in the special military operation, did not have enough diesel-fueled pickup trucks to transport ammunition and other military supplies directly to the trenches, to the front line. The head of state decided to hand over his personal vehicles to the servicemen. The command of the unit expressed its gratitude to Alan Gagloev for prompt response and assistance,” she said.

The fighters warmly welcomed the President, thanked him for his participation and regular assistance, and also expressed their confidence that they would continue to effectively carry out their combat missions.
