As is known, modern Internet technologies have radically changed the system of scientific communication, allowing for a targeted search for necessary information and uniting researchers from different countries into the global scientific community.
On November 2 of this year, on his birthday, the head of the biology department, head of the Laboratory of Biomedical Research of the South Ossetian State University, Professor Teimuraz Isakovich Kokoev received the invitation from the managing editor of the academic journal “Advances in Modern Agriculture” Evelyn Lim to act as a reviewer of the manuscript “Study of the antifungal potential of post-harvest fungal pathogens in mango fruits,” submitted to the international publication.
The professor intends to consider the proposal, first of all, from the standpoint of promoting South Ossetian science at the global level.
The main criterion for assessing the contribution of modern scientists to science is the citation index of their scientific works on the Web of Science platform, an integrated database of peer-reviewed scientific publications. The high frequency of mentions of Teimuraz Kokoev’s scientific works determines the regularity of the scientist’s invitations to prestigious scientific events.
It should be reminded that the professor has already received invitations to participate in the III World Conference “Plant Biology - 2021” (Japan), the International Conference on Engineering and Advanced Innovative Technologies (Taiwan, 2021), the International Symposium on New Energy and Environment (South Korea, 2023), World Environmental Conference (Portugal, 2023), etc.
