Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, headed by Deputy Minister Dmitry Volvach, arrived in South Ossetia on Tuesday.

As part of a two-day working visit to the Republic, the Russian delegation, accompanied by Chairman of the Government of South Ossetia Konstantin Dzhussoev, Russian Ambassador to the Republic of South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, head of Ministry of Construction Zaur Chochiev and other officials, got acquainted with the progress of the construction of a children's camp in the Dzau region.

The Russian delegation has included Deputy Director of the Department of Special Programs and Projects of Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Anton Melnik and other officials.

The head of the construction organization "Bado" Vladislav Valiev told in detail about the work carried out at the site.

After inspecting the facility, Dmitry Volvach positively assessed the progress of work at the children’s camp, noting that “he himself would come here to relax.”

“The work is already entering its final stage. We see, in my opinion, a very promising, comfortable and modern youth camp. Various formats of recreation and training are possible here. There are excellent places for accommodation in separate buildings, an administrative building with a catering unit, a summer terrace where you can hold various kinds of events,” Volvach has noted.

Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev has noted that the construction of the facility is at the final stage and will be put into operation in the near future.

“We will think about how to effectively use it as a children’s camp, as well as a small tourist cluster, including a training program. I think that in the near future we will see the result,” the Prime Minister said.

This evening the Russian delegation will meet with President Alan Gagloev.
