The Ossetian people remember with gratitude the support that the Republic of Nauru provided them by recognizing South Ossetia as the independent and sovereign state. This is stated in the congratulation of the head of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev to President of Nauru David Adeang on the Independence Day of the Republic.
"On behalf of the people and government of South Ossetia, as well as on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Nauru - Independence Day. I am convinced that bilateral relations between our two countries have good prospects, and interaction and cooperation will be developing and expanding," the congratulation reads.
Gagloev wished Adeang good health and success as president, and well-being and prosperity to all people of the Republic of Nauru.
