Parliament of the RSO has appointed the members of the new Central Election Committee

The Parliament of South Ossetia has confirmed a parliamentary quota of the Central Election Committee members of the Republic in number of seven persons at today's session. According to the Speaker of the Parliament Stanislav Kochiev, three candidates of the party "Unity", two candidates of the People`s Party and two of the Communist Party are presented to the Central Electoral Committee by arrangement of the fractions.

Presidential elections in South Ossetia have been scheduled for November, 13

Today the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia has scheduled the presidential election of the RSO for November, 13, 2011. According to the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic Stanislav Kochiev, the presidential elections will pass on the second Sunday of November, on the expiry of the term of powers of the President in accordance with the Constitution of South Ossetia. Deputies of the Parliament have unanimously supported this question.

The building materials plant will be constructed in Tskhinval

The State Unitary Enterprise «The Plant of Building Materials» has been established in South Ossetia. This resolution has been passed today at the RSO government session.In his report the Minister of Economic Development of the RSO Konstantin Koliev has noted with respect to this question, that necessity of the plant creation is explained in accordance with realization of the Investment program of the Republic of South Ossetia.

The RSO Government has approved the draft resolution about the state border crossing

The question on the order of crossing the frontier of the Republic of South Ossetia and Georgia in a check point «Tskhinval-Ergneti" has been considered today at the RSO government session. The head of the RSO KGB frontier service Sergey Kolbin has made a speech in regard to this question. As he said, in November of the last year the government of South Ossetia had approved the list of the points of simplified crossing of the Georgian border by the Republican citizens.
