Delegation of Syria will come to Tskhinval for the anniversary of recognition of South Ossetia

The official delegation from Syria will take part for the first time in solemn events on the occasion of the recognition of the independence of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation, said in an interview with Izvestia the Chairman of the Parliament of the RSO Peter Gassiev.
According to Gassiev, Syria's President Bashar al-Assad is planning to personally visit the Republic, but his visit, most likely, will not be timed to any event.

Bibilov told the BBC about the prospects of South Ossetia's entry into Russia

The decade of the August 2008 events and the recognition of the independence of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation caused a surge of interest in the Republic from the Western media.
To highlight commemorative events dedicated to the August 8, 2008war, representatives of about two dozen mass media of Russia and foreign countries got accreditation in the information department of South Ossetia.

In South Ossetia the memory of those killed in August 2008 was honored at the Gergiev stairs

The action "Memory is needed to those alive ..." was held in Tskhinval at the Gergiev stairs, where gathered representatives of the Republic's leadership headed by the President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov, members of Parliament and Government, guests of the Republic, representatives of the public.
The head of state Anatoly Bibilov, has reminded that just 10 years ago, a war criminal President of the Republic of Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili, assured the residents of South Ossetia of their peaceful intentions.

In South Ossetia Saakashvili is promised a military tribunal for the 2008 genocide

President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov called former Georgian leader Mikheil Saakashvili a war criminal, who will have to answer before the tribunal for the genocide of the Ossetian people.
