The trend in the detection of new cases of COVID-19 in early March is alarming, - the head of The South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee

The detection rate of patients with coronavirus in South Ossetia in early March varies from 12 to 22 percent, the head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee Marina Kochieva told the “Res” news agency.

“The percentage is not low; we have to understand that. COVID-19, of course, will not disappear, most likely it will subsequently turn into seasonal incidence. But today we recommend that the population adhere to all preventive measures, observe the rules of hygiene, mask regime, disinfection regime, refrain from visiting crowded places,” Kochieva said.
